Research on Satellite Attitude Determination Method Based on an Improved Kalman Filtering Algorithm

This is a department-level innovation and entrepreneurship training program for college students. Qianhao Sun served as the fifth team member, responsible for the research and implementation of the Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) algorithm.

My Contributions:

  • Studied the principles of the UKF algorithm and its application in satellite attitude determination.
  • Attempted to combine the Levenberg-Marquardt (LM) algorithm with the UKF algorithm to improve algorithm performance.
  • Conducted simulation experiments to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
  • Assisted in writing the project report and preparing the final presentation.

Project Outcome:

  • Completed the project and passed the department-level evaluation.
